We are excited to Welcome you back to Life's Retreat Massage and Spa.  In response to Covid-19, we've added a few new things to prioritize the safety of our staff and clients.  Our hope is that you can enjoy your time here, knowing that we've implemented strict guidelines to keep you safe. 

Here's what you need to know to plan for your next visit:


  • When you arrive for your appointment we ask that you wait in the comfort of your car.  Please call the spa  at 763-333-1000 to let us know you have arrived.

We will ask you the following health questions in order to proceed:


  • Have you experienced a fever, chills, cough or shortness of breath, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell in the last 14 days?

  • Have you been asked to self isolate or quarantine by a doctor or a local public health official in the last 14 days?

  • Have you been in contact with or cared for anyone who has Covid-19 within the last 14 days?

If you answered NO to all the above questions you will be directed to proceed inside for your appointment.

  • All clients are required to wear a face-covering at all times, while in the spa.   If it needs to be removed for your treatment,  please wait to do that once you’re  behind closed doors.  When you leave the room please put your face mask back on.  Please inform us if you can not wear a mask due to  health or physical ability reasons.  Staff Members will also be wearing masks.

  • We ask that guests sanitize their hands and allow a touchless thermal forehead wellness check upon entering.  Temperatures  of above 100.4  will be asked to leave and you will not be seen.   Employee temperature screenings are done at the start of their shift to guarantee a temperature of 100.4 or lower (in accordance with CDC recommendations) to ensure our team is well and ready for your service.

  • Only clients receiving treatments will be allowed in the spa.  Please do not bring anyone with you.  This includes children and spouses.  Please inform staff if you have physical difficulty that will need extra assistance.

  • Other than your treatment there will be no physical contact allowed.  This unfortunately includes hugs and handshakes.

  • We will be disinfecting all touch surfaces multiple times a day.  Each room will undergo enhanced cleaning procedures which will require 15 minutes between each appointment to deep clean rooms and common areas.  Please be aware that if you are late, your appointment time will still end at the designated time and you will be responsible for the entire time scheduled, we unfortunately can not extend the time.    This is to ensure the appropriated amount of time is allowed to clean the room for the next client. 


  • All state, local and regulatory guidelines relating to sanitation and hygiene are being followed. All disinfectants used in the spa are verified to ensure they meet the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19


Our industry is different from others in Minnesota, we are fortunate to be regulated in safety and sanitation practices, please be assured that you are being protected and considered with highest regards to your health and wellness.  We have increased education for our team focused on sanitation and hygiene standards for smart, safe practices.  Please be patient with our staff as we implement necessary precautions to keep our staff and clients safe.
